| Which modding-path should I choose? Posted: 13 Oct 2019 12:23 PM PDT I am still in the progress of learning C#. The website I am using says that I completed 4 out of 6 chapters, that I ought to learn and I believe I should have completed all the chapters around Halloween. But now to the relevant question: I really like Half-Life 1 and I would love to develop an extra-story mod (ideas and friends that would like to help develop are already settled) but it will probably be too hard for a rookie to develop. So I want to know, if lets say I want to develop mods for Stardew Valley with SMAPI. , if it would be more suited for a rookie, or in the end the amount of time you spend to get acquainted to developing mods for it, is almost as long as to get acquainted to modding with Half Life 1.
