    Half Life Alyx is a test for Half Life 3's VR capabilities

    I have a theory that Half Life Alyx is a test for Half Life 3 in VR. Once Half Life Alyx is released, they will probably begin work on Half Life 3. Or they will start it in the mid/late 2020s because most computers are not strong enough yet for VR. Once that happens though, Half Life 3 will begin production. So expect Half Life 3 this decade.

    I found an old HalfLife: Initial Encounter demo disc.

    I was going through some old gaming gear and, as the title says, I found a sealed copy of HalfLife: Initial Encounter in the bottom of the box. I don't know much about HalfLife, can anyone tell me anything about it or if it's worth anything?

    What do you think ? There's some element of Half-Life 2 Beta you want to see in Alyx ? Personally I would love to see the Bullsquid, the Houndeye, the Combine Assassin, the Cremator and the Hydra.
