    Why Half-Life: Uplink is the best Half-Life game

    Now lower the pitchforks and hear me out. Half-Life Uplink is a fifteen minute masterpiece. It conveys everything that makes Half-Life great and is the perfect demo ever. If you never heard of Half-Life it's the best introduction to the series:

    • The environment is very realistic, but it's also a tutorial in disguise. You learn by intuition: you see the guard pressing the button to call the elevator to learn that you can also press buttons, you find the crowbar close to some broken wooden boxes to understand that they are breakable. The whole environment is highly interactive.

    • You face headcrabs first, then zombies, then the military, then stronger aliens: the variety and learning curve that is also present in Half-Life 1.

    This demo needs more respect and love. If you never played it, do it, it's great!
