    Call me crazy, but I’m starting to think that the Vortigaunts in Half-Life: Alyx sort of seem similar to the Mudokons from Oddworld because their redesigns look more frog-like.

    Do you think Barney will play a major role in Half Life 3?

    Obviously he's a fan favorite. He's been my favorite character in the franchise for however long I've been playing these games. But it's sort of sad to think his role hasn't been as big as it has the potential to be. He gets a decent chunk of time dedicated to him in HL2, and some good moments in episode 1, but not even a mention in 2. And judging by Epistle 3, there was likely never a plan to make him a big part of episode 3 either.

    I'd love to see him play a major role in the search for the Borealis in HL3. Especially with how much HL:A has changed the chronology. His role as a rebellion leader is so much fun to watch, and he could honestly carry his own game if Valve ever decides that (not counting Blue Shift, bc that's obviously just a neat side quest DLC made without incorporating anything of what we would know about Barney as a character in future games)
