Why does Gordon use the Glock 17 two-handed and the Colt Python one-handed in Half-Life 1? Posted: 03 Nov 2020 09:33 PM PST I am by no means an expert in weapons, so I don't know if it's based on real life In Half-Life 1 Gordon uses the Glock 17 with two hands and the Colt Python with one hand, however the Colt Python is a much stronger weapon so I would assume a stronger kickback which would be harder to withstand with just one hand So why is it like this, and not the opposite?
