    I got into this Franchise on it's 20th Anniversary back in 2018. As I played through the games, the community celebrated the anniversary, Noclip released an amazing Half-Life Documentary, Black Mesa: Xen Trailer was published. I was a hard fan ever since I stepped onto that train inbound to Sector C. That time was truly special, then I finished Episode 2. I knew there was nothing more to expect and that pain that came after it was in a way comforting knowing thst there is nothing more after Episode 2, but yet feeling hopeful that someday they'll announce a new Half-Life Game. Then after Episode 2 i played Portal 2. The fact that Portal 2 was set perhaps even decades after the events of Episode 2 was mindblowing. Walking around the Old Aperture and exploring it's origins. Then that "wait" begun. It was kind of painfull, but that little slip of hope that one day they're going to announce a new Half-Life Game was comforting. And They Did.
