    How has no one ever noticed this? We really need a Minecraft mod, where the ender dragon is replaced by the Nihilanth. Hell, even the Ender Dragon needs "crystals" to be destroyed or those blocks that give him health. Man, that'd be nice.

    Is the Gman really just the combine?

    It seems to me tht the combine being much larger than just earth, spanning multiple universes and worlds/dimensions and intelligent species is using humanity and the resistance itself though gordan freeman as a free agent to simply extract more technology from us and test the limits of the combine forces sent to earth for some larger reason. The gman himself seems to be the only one who interfaces with key players and how else would Dr.Breen have been given dominion over earth unless through the gman himself, none of the losses or victories on earth really matter that much to the combine in the grand scheme of things. They could just nuke the whole solar system with an antimatter bomb and just keep on chugging along on the other side of the galaxy. So what else could the gman be except the agent of the combine itself keeping the portal open in the first place?

    What about a Battlefield-eqse Half Life game?

    I'm not saying let EA slap the name Battlefield onto a new Half Life game or that this should be HL3 but a whole separate game based in the Half Life universe with a mode similar to Conquest in the Battlefield franchise. I would personally love a Half Life game in this manner, controlling a Combine soldier or Rebel freedom fighter alongside countless other men during the Uprising or fighting over White Forest. I could go on and on on about how I would design a game like this, but I want to hear my fellow fan's thoughts, ideas and opinions on this.

    Does anybody remember this? In 2002, I was playing HL1(cracked, not beta, not a demo). There was a black themed main menu with animated Half Life text at the top of the screen. And playing sound on main menu items. Now I have all of HL games on Steam but it is doesn't have this menu. How can I get this menu?

    Is HL: Lost Coast supposed to be an actual game? Because when I finished the first level, it just took me back to the menu

    HL2, episodes, and sourcemods freezing for long periods of time on quicksave and autosave.

    I don't know where else to put this, hopefully someone here can help. I've searched google and turned up nothing relevant or useful.

    Every time the game autosaves and every other time I quicksave, the game hangs and the sound loops for several seconds. Usually this results in my death in dangerous situations and it just generally sucks for those watching me stream because it's 20-30 seconds of dead air and sound hitching.

    I've tried disabling the steam cloud save sync and setting autosaves to read-only as the solutions I've found say to do, but nothing has helped. Does anyone here have the same problem and know a solution?
