    Half-Life Content Creators List

    There are a lot of great halflife content creators on youtube, so I thought I would compile a list of them. If you have any suggestions for channels I should add, please comment them down below.

     

    A Jolly Wangcore A streamer and a youtuber, uploading hilarious highlights and clips from his streams. Primarily focused on halflife mods and being a bit of a dummy. I also recommend his second channel "Jolly's 2nd Channel"

     

    Accursed Farms Creator of the infamous and classic "Freeman's mind" series. Content is not exclusively Half-Life related but is good nonetheless. Hates when companies take his games away due to online only structures. Another creative series is his Civil Protection series following the antics of two civil protection cops. He also has a great and niche game dungeon (Civvie11 crossover when, Ross?).

     

    Tyler McVicker The creator of "VNN" or "Valve News Network". A subject of controversy on any Valve forum. I'll admit my bias here and say that I am a fan. On his channel you will find enjoyable documentaries, informative videos, and the latest news on Halflife and anything else related to Valve.

     

    LambdaGeneration A general news channel about all things Half-Life. Great for keeping up and catching up with the Halflife community in an easy to watch and enjoyable video.

     

    MarphitimusBlackimus All sorts of memes, behind the scenes, cut content, and informative videos of your favorite GoldSrc (and sometimes Source) game. An intriguing rabbit hole to dive down, and if you're interested in the inter workings of halflife you won't regret checking it out.

     

    DanielSt. Taking modding in an... interesting... direction. Memes and modding bonanza.

     

    Desinc Doesn't post Half-Life content super often, but when he does it's some of the best. A speedrunner and comedic Youtuber with some of the funniest halflife stuff out there

     

    ALLAN A Russian Desinc. Would highly recommend if you enjoy Desinc, want more, and can either speak Russian or don't mind subtitles.

     

    Project Borealis The official Channel of "Project Borealis", a promising fan project based on Epistle 3.

     

    EnderIsaacCore A Hat In Time streamer that has recently been streaming half-life regularly. His channel isn't too big so interaction with the streams is top tier.

     

    BigMacDavis A commentary walkthrough youtuber that makes a lot of halflife walkthroughs. He takes things slow and actually kills every enemy. "100%" Walkthroughs as he calls them. Would recommend if you're even in a pinch or even just want to watch some commentated halflife gameplay.

     

    VMFwalks A channel that I'm trying to grow. I'm planning on making a video about every existing Valve game, including the Halflifes. Probably doesn't hold up to the quality of everything else on this list and may not be your cup of tea.

     

    Oxjae Primarily Goldsource content, similar to Marphy but with more comedy focused content. Excited for the rest of Half-Lief.

    Is anybody else's Episode Two soundtrack completely missing?

    So I went to listen to the EP2 soundtrack in the music player, but noticed it was missing. It's not in the game files where it'd normally be. I tried everything, verifying the game cache, completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and I even contacted Steam Support about it, and they still haven't replied. I talked with some people in a Discord server I'm in, and they have the exact same problem. Is the Episode Two soundtrack just completely gone now?

    Need help with Lighting glitch

    ive looked around for a fix for a bit, what ive tried so far is the fix ive found everywhere

    mat_dxlevel 90,mat_hdr_level 2, mat_hdr_enabled, mat_fullbright 0

    all of those have no effect.
