    Strange Underwater Gun Noise in Half-Life 2

    I just discovered a weird buzzing noise that guns like the pistol and the revolver make when you hold down the right mouse button underwater. Anyone know what that sound is supposed to be? As far as I know RMB doesn't do anything with those guns above water.

    Which half life 1 version should I go?

    I just got half life complete and saw it came a source engine version of half life 1. Should I go with source one or the classic one?

    I recently bought the entire Half life collection (HL1, HL2, HL2 E1 and HL2 E2), and i started, obviously, with HL1. The thing is this:

    The gameplay is great, but the story... dont hate me, i have been finding it a bit boring, to simple compared other games i have been playing (Halo ce, GTA Vice city, COD MW, etc).

    The difficulty, well, its a hard thing. I started the campaing in Medium difficulty, and it has been a headache. To much damage from enemies, Grenade launcher soilders, low damage output from you, and the "puzzle" parts of the game are what i found to be the most difficult part (im not a person who likes that type of problems).

    The lenght, goddamnit. 20 missions in total. Im just on the very start of "Apprehension", mission 8, and im just wanting to finish the game to jump right into Half life 2.

    I dont know if it is just me, but HL1 has been boring, and im not enjoying it as i think i would be doing it. Tell me how i can make it more enjoyable, or just say to me to watch walkthroughs on youtube

    Installing MMod V 1.3

    So I've wanted to play MMod and the newest version is 1.3. I went to download it when I realise it wasn't going to be as easy as I thought it'd be, so I looked up and I saw a couple of guides but they all said different things. I've tried some of them and they don't work.
    Each guide says to move the files into the source folder but I don't have one. Can I just make one myself?

    (Help) Can not start a new game on Half-Life 2

    I've tried asking about this on the Steam forums, but nothing has turned up. So whenever I try to start a new game in Half-Life 2, the background blurs and I'm stuck in the menu no matter what I do.

    I thought it has something to do with the DirectX drivers, but I believe it has something to do with mission files for this game.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?
