    Let's appreciate that HL:A was not rushed out last year

    HL:Alyx was supposed to come out last year as a flagship title on Index, but the game wasn't ready yet. Instead of rushing the release and compromising the quality of the franchise, Valve decided to release Index without any title at the expense of the platform's sales and keep improving the game.
    I think they intended to release HL:Alyx for this year's Christmas, but they aren't happy with the quality of the product yet, so they postponed it to March.

    I think this shows that Valve prioritizes quality of their products over financial gains in game development. They are still in the business for the long run, and I am happy about this.

    Since I know some information that some of the inspiration of the game isn't only Sofia Bulgaria but also Burgas a coastline city in the country, I managed to find the real life location of one of the apartment blocks that was modeled in the game.
