    While I agree that Gman looks a bit too human compared to HL2, I'm in love with this shot as he steps out of the shadows. I think he'll still be very alien, but the connotations will be more subtle.

    Sure. Gordon Freeman technically is, but he really isn't a character. He never talks, we understand he has positive motives due to us controlling him, but there really isn't anything for us to cling onto as a person because he never expresses himself thus never expresses his personality to the fullest extent. Alyx really is kinda the main character in that game as she is one of the people we follow most and she has plenty of dialouge. She must really go for those strong silent types. But yeah, people that are upset that we may not play as Gordon Freeman in this game shouldn't be toooo upset, his character is just a blank slate in terms of personality. Alyx makes the most sense.

    Can we all agree that Half Life: Alyx is Half Life 3 just like how the prequel to Red Dead Redemption is Red Dead Redemption 2
