    I found this donut bag in Nova Prospekt, which has a metrocop on it. In all my years of playing Half-Life 2, I have never seen this before.

    Idea for a spinoff HL Universe game: Ravenholm

    I've made a couple posts on this subreddit about spinoff Half Life titles not following Gordon's story; I have yet another idea. Ravenholm would be set in, well, Ravenholm. Instead of being an action oriented shooter it would be more like say Dead Space or Alien: Isolation, focusing on the horrors of first the shelling of the town and then its downfall; kind of like the opening and later times of Black Mesa on the day of the Resonance Cascade. I'm just going to say one thing and that is it could essentially steal what Dead Space 1 and 2 did; Dead Space 1 and Half Life 2 showed the effects of a prolonged infestation; Dead Space 2 showed it happening, the infestation itself growing the further you went through the game. Ravenholm could take advantage of this idea, along with one from the A:I game. Instead of running from the hordes of the alien-infested undead, you could have the player run from that AND a type of "super-zombie"; Say a headcrab zombie randomly mutated its genes and it became a Gonome and not stay a regular zombie. Damn, I think I want to make this game as soon as I get the right tools.

    It may be me, but i feel like hl2's intro is inspired or very similar at least to the song On the Run, not only are you on the run, but the voice in the song calling someone out like the voice from the combine radio, idk it may be me.

    This is the question I've asked myself for a long time. Hl2 or Hl, which game is better? I'm curious about what tou think. I like more the atmosphere of the second one , while the first game had a interesting story. What do you think? Which is better?

    Half-Life Uplink - time limit

    Hello I have a question about Half-Life: Uplink (the demo version). I'd like to know if there's a time limit, by that I mean if the game 'locks' after a certain amount of time, just like one of these time limited programs, or if you can play it over and over again forever.

    So does anyone know?

    HL2 MMod old pistol animations for 1.3

    Do you like HL2 MMod? Do you liked the old 2 handed pistol animations? Yes? then follow this tutorial and you'll have old pistol anims in 1.3

    1. Download HL2 Mmod 1.3
    2. When you're on the moddb page of MMod, click the addons button on the top of the page
    3. Type "Old animations" in the search bar
    4. Download the "Mmod 1.0 Weapon Animations for Mmod 1.3"
    5. Follow the instructions of how to install the addon on the page
    6. Delete all the files that don't have "pistol" anywhere in their name
    7. Start MMod and you have only the old pistol animations. If you also want the old shotgun/crowbar/smg animations, just don't delete those files

    If this helped you, I'm glad. Lot of people were mad that Gunship Mk II.(Creator of the mod) deleted the old anims, so here you have the old ones
