    I remember, just not from where, a half life live action (?) clip showing Freeman running through a war zone in a city street. On his shoulder her carried an RPG and as the clip progressed he turned out of the way of an explosion, continued with the turn, and fired the ordinance into a walker. Reeeaal Hollywood style. I can't seem to find whatever this clip pertains to and I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    Just finished Black Mesa and loved it - wondering if there are any plans for Opposing Source or even a Blue Shift equivalent?

    I'm not super up-to-date with the half-life modding community; are there any serious large-scale projects to remaster Opposing Force to the same extent that Black Mesa did? I found some guy who did a goldsource to source port but from the video I saw it looked just like an asset port over to Half-Life 2, but it wasn't a revamp in any way.

    [For context, I'm trying to implement the Half-Life: Decay cut APC model into a map]
    I've tried monster_generic, monster_furniture and cycler
    I don't exactly know how to get monster_generic or furniture to work but so far the model won't show up and there isn't much documentation on how to get it to work
    Cycler DOES make a model but if you shoot it, it bleeds and does an animation, no go

    Hey guys, I was wondering after playing half life 2 again for the 3rd time if there is an extension of the game featuring the seven hour war. I mean it would be really cool to play that part of the story embodying a combine soldier like in opposing force, don't you think?

    Born sometime between the 70's and 80's.

    Got Ph.D in theoretical physics.

    Worked for Black Mesa.

    Defeated U.S. marines.

    Defeated extradimensional aliens and their Lovecraftian leader.

    Kept in stasis for 20+ years in the void.

    Returned and defeated an alien garrison (the Combine Overwatch) installed on Earth to act as a 'pseudo-government' of the planet.

    Attempted to kamikaze a ghost ship into a dyson sphere (the Combine's capital) in another universe before being teleported back to Earth.

    Negative feats-

    Is a middle-aged (27 year old) nerd.

    Is probably socially awkward.

    Introverted.

    Is a weirdo who likes to destroy microwave casseroles.

    Likes to cause scientific accidents (see Resonance Cascade).

    Obsessed with physics.

    Positive feats-

    Wears a HEV suit at all times during catastrophes.

    Can operate military-grade firearms and alien weapons.

    Can kill with a crowbar.

    Can break the speed of sound by bhopping.

    Can initiate a leap across entire canyons and towns.

    Can supersonically propel self into air using explosives and boxes.

    Can levitate using pallets and ammo crates.

    Can phase-shift through walls and people.

    Can clip into the 4th dimension temporarily and return to this dimension at the desired spot or location.

    Possesses extremely fast reflexes.
