    Problems I noticed with Tested's gameplay of Half Life Alyx

    • Head crabs instantly snap to a new animation when they lunge at you instead of the smooth blend that you see with the one in the trailer

    • The movement of zombies doesn't seem that fluid

    • Most of Alyx's hands can easily clip into a headcrab when picked up in ragdoll mode

    • Teleporting ladders

    • Smooth locomotion is just an instant move or stop with no acceleration curve

    I'm sure the last 2 will be fixed but what's up with the animation and clipping issues? I know for sure the animations aren't as fluid as the trailer shows, so why the difference? This can't be an old build of the game?

    It was a bad idea for Valve to release this gameplay when it clearly wasn't ready to be shown in general tbh
