    I didn't care that they had someone else voice the joker in Arkham origins and I don't really care they recast Merle. I have nothing against Merle. Would I prefer her over someone new? Sure.

    But y'all are going hard with this scorched Earth shit. We just finally got half life announced after 12 years. You really wanna throw a wrench in that and risk the volatile valve delays or cancels or some shit over a voice actor?

    Va's change all the time. It's really not a big deal to me

    Little inconsistency I noticed in HL2

    So Dr. Kleiner's headcrab pet, Lamar jumped into the teleporter with gordon at the beginning of the game. It then jumped out of the teleporter trying to catch a bird somewhere on the coast. BUT, later in the story, after you use the teleporter at Nova Prospekt Lamar is back with Dr. Kleiner.

    Edit. After saying he needs to find Lamar Alyx tells him to just get another head crab, to which he says "There is only one Hedy"

    How to Reset Default CVAR Values?

    Title. I messed with the cl_bob commands in Black Mesa and just want to reset those and everything else that may have been changed. Steam Cloud doesn't seem to want me to change anything back. Original Half-Life is also affected as well.

    HL Alyx story telling.

    So besides the current controversy from the Tested HL video there was some interesting information about physics objects. At around the 11 minute mark Norm says about being able to pick up newspapers and magazines, this got me think about the incredible amount of world building story telling that is possible in VR.

    Imagine picking up a newspaper, quite possibly the the last one ever printed and it describes the 7 hour war or just before. Or going into a room to find a letter from someone detailing how they are hiding from combine.

    HL2 was so good at story telling and I think HLA will be incredible in this regards.
