    Just finished the game.

    Wow. The developers recently released Xen, so I picked up from where I was and did the whole thing, but I should say I should've restarted the game, to enjoy it for more time.

    What an amazing piece of work. It blows new life into the classic that is Half Life, with a plethora of exciting, instigating new additions, like using the HL2 engine to all its potential with a number of puzzles. All that said, Black Mesa is a shining reminder of the genious of the original game.

    Amazing. Do give it a go if you haven't yet.

    Adrian Shepard in HL:A?

    I was wondering what you guys thought about the chance of Adrian Shepard appearing in HL:A. Opposing Force has always been my favorite DLC to any game for pretty much forever, so I when I saw the HL:A trailer I considered his appearance being a possibility. Just thought I'd ask what you all thought about that, lol.

    It was described in Rasing the Bar or maybe in beta. Eli is showing the clips/slides to Gordon, which contains:

    • Gargantua charging a farm tractor.

    • Bullsquid chasing people in a supermarket.

    • Eli saying a phrase like "we tried to fight back", followed by a top down picture Pentagon building completely destroyed .

    Does anyone can help to point out which mod have or will have these things recreated?

    why aren't there any vortigaunt zombies

    Why don't zombie vortigaunts appear in half life, the headcrabs and vortigaunts are both from Xen and vortigaunts would be the most likely thing headcrabs would attack.

    Black Mesa missing some sounds and music, any help?

    Before anyone says it, yes I have tried verifying the cache but it didn't fix anything. I haven't tried a full reinstall yet because my internet is awful and it would take forever to download again, so I consider it a last resort. Anyways, basically in certain maps, especially on a rail, have missing songs and sounds. Most of the sounds are able to be fixed by simply using snd_restart, but the music is just completely gone, like at the very beginning of On a Rail, when the train is being lifted down. This also used to happen during the Inbound chapter, but an update fixed the problem somehow. I dont have the exact error message that shows in the console when a song fails to play, but I'll give an example of what it says when a song/sound fails to play: Failed to load sound "vo\c1a3a\silodoors\grd_zombiegrabscream.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository

    My only 2 ideas on what's causing this is either the fact that im opted into the beta, and/or that I have workshop addons installed. I'll give a list of the addons I have installed for the game if that helps anyone figure out the problem:

    I apologize for the arguably unnecessarily long list but this issue has been bugging the hell out of me and I want anyone who's willing to help to have as much info as possible. I would also like to mention that I havent tested all the maps, but the Xen maps, Inbound, Anomalous materials, Unforeseen Consequences, Office Complex, "We've got hostiles" (with the exception of when you go into the security room and grab the shotgun, the song that plays in that room seems to be missing), Blast Pit, and most of Power Up (the song that plays when you kill the Gargantua is missing) seem to be working fine, but every chapter after that up until and including Questionable Ethics, which is the chapter im currently playing through, has some missing sounds and/or music. I apologize for the long post, I just really hope this can get fixed. I'll appreciate any help anyone has to offer, and thanks to anyone who took the time to read this.
