I'm getting closer to porting MINERVA to the Original Xbox. Lighting, textures, skybox is broken, game crashes after seconds, but hey, after many years - we have progress!

I've already posted this to the Project Borealis subreddit, but I figured I'd post it here as well! This is a few voices I did for characters- a potential audition. (G-Man, Barney, Vort, Gordon) I have a lot of passion for Half-Life and would love to be involved in its projects. A friend uploaded :)

Can we take a moment to appreciate Dr. Breen's diologue?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2020 11:22 AM PST

It has come to my attention that some have lately called me a collaborator, as if such a term were shameful. I ask you what greater endeavor exists than that of collaboration? In our current unparalleled enterprise, refusal to collaborate is simply a refusal to grow and insistence on suicide if you will. Did the lungfish refuse to breathe air? It did not. It crept forth boldly while it's brethren remained in the blackest ocean abyss with lidless eyes forever staring at the dark. Ignorant and doomed despite their eternal vigilance. Would we model ourselves on the trilobite? Are all the accomplishments of humanity fated to be nothing more than a layer of broken, plastic shards thinly strewn across a fossil bed? Sandwiched between the Burgess shale and an eons worth of mud? In order to be true to our nature and out destiny we must aspire to greater things. We have outgrown our cradle. It is futile to cry for mother's milk when our true sustenance awaits us among the stars.

Hoping to see more great Breencasts in HL:A, the writing and acting in all of them are superb, it's a shame they don't get much of a showcase in HL2.

Did the HEV suit enhance Gordon strength ?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2020 07:11 AM PST

I noticed how Alyx had difficulty using the Gravity Gun because of it's weight and recoil while Gordon had no trouble using it. Also that would explain how he was capable of killing Metrocops and headcrabs with only few strokes with the crowbar.

Freeman never was in need to eat anything, because HEV suit constantly is injecting morphine into his blood, which can decrease feeling of hunger.
