But I really prefer HL2 Strider sounds over HLA Strider sounds. The HLA Strider sounds so mechanical as if Striders are 100% robot. Also their guns sound kinda weak compared to HL2

P.S: I know Striders appear in the trailer but still felt like adding a spoiler tag

Half Life 3 plot theory

Ok so this might get lost in new but I just had a theory that popped into my head while listening to a Stay Alive remix. If you remember from the beginning of Portal Two, Glados is destroyed in her chamber when the last we saw of her she was on the surface. What if in Half Life 3 part of the plot is while the resistance and Gordon are going to find the Borealis, they find out they need external permissions to turn on the ships portal device or just get to the area where the ship is. So they have to rebuild Glados in her original spot using blueprints they find in the facility. And maybe when they turn her on Glados tries to kill him leading to a mini boss fight of sorts. (Like the Gonarch of HL1.) It could also lead to some good banter because Gordon, like chell, also does not talk. Maybe while trying to fight Glados Freeman finds a portal gun and that's how he gets to the Borealis. Idk just a fan fiction / theory kind of thing. Hope you enjoyed the premise.
