| Gonarchs and Headcrab Evolution? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 08:41 PM PDT We see an abundance of Headcrabs and Zombies in HL2 but how do you suppose a Headcrab evolves into a Gonarch? We never see the latter in HL2. Makes me wonder if they somehow only evolve like that in Xen or maybe it requires to be attached to a host for awhile and the host eventually mutates or more likely consumed fully by a Headcrab to become one?
