    Has anyone noticed this yet? (HLA spoilers)

    I was watching a video of the post credits scene in HLA again, when I noticed what looked like a vignette around the edge of the screen. I realized a second later that it kind of looked like Gordon's glasses! So I took a second look in the game for myself, and sure enough, when Eli wakes you up you can see the very faint outline of glasses around your eyes, complete with lens flare and dirt! I would post a screenshot, but it's impossible to see unless you're watching it in motion.

    Here's the clip. If you look at the bottom right corner starting at around 5:52 you can see it's a little bit darker in some areas. It's way more noticeable if you're looking for it in VR though.

    This is an awesome detail, I love this game so much

    Anyone ever noticed in half life 1 that sometimes when you throw a grenade or detonate an explosive or something you hear the sound of a man grunting even if no one is there? Is it Freeman wincing in pain or something? I was watching Freeman's mind again and I got reminded of that sound because I heard it at 5:03 in https://youtu.be/2HdlRqvIyFs and I never thought much of it but I thought about asking.

    Is Left 4 Dead Canon to the Half Life Timeline?

    I am having an argument with a friend who won't play l4d with me because it'll spoil half life for him. He is convinced they're canon to eachother and I'm convinced they're not. So I want a sort of concensus on the issue. Are they Canon to eachother or not?

    EDIT: This is just so I can assure my friend half life won't be spoiled by playing l4d, so please refrain from posting actual spoilers or saying something rude about him.
