    Anyone else replaying HLA for the commentary?

    Hey all. I'd been thinking of replaying through HLA, as I'd begun to miss it. It's odd, it's like having been to a place and spending lots of time there, and I missed being there... weird, I know.

    But anyway... the new update with the dev commentary came out and I'm even more impressed now, having heard what the devs did to make this game this unbelievably good. And there's a bunch of things I think we're all aware of, the sound effects of different objects, the fluid physics in bottles, etc... but there's a raft of really small little things that just blow my mind.

    For instance, in Russel's lab they created some scripting to randomly pull from a library of key clicking sound effects that syncs up with Russell's finger movements, because if you just had a basic key-clicking sound effect being played people could tell, now that we can get our faces up in Russell's business. I can't begin to imagine just how much extra time they spent just on making the key-clicking sound *right* just for that one scene with Russell... mind blowing.

    Monogon: Echoes is a sandbox game set in the half-life universe that's set to drop at the end of this year.
    No footage has been made public but leaks are out there.

    Black Mesa - Hat not coming through the final portal?

    Hi all, I've FINALLY got the hat through Interloper and I'm about to go through the big regular portal where you come out and see the Nihalanth portal (that takes you to his chamber (not like that)). I'm holding the hat, walk through the portal and... nothing. The approach to the Nihalanth portal is in front of me, but the hat hasn't come through that portal.

    I've gone through the entire game without cheats, so any suggestions to turn them on will be promptly ignored (unless it really is the last resort). Is there any trick to how to hold it? An angle to go through or something?

    If Half-Life 3 will be a VR game, do you think Gordon will continue to use the Gravity Gun or will be given a new, upgraded version of the Gravity Gloves as powerful as the Gravity Gun ?
