Will the Combine return in future Half-Life games? Posted: 22 Nov 2020 07:24 PM PST When Dr. Kleiner tells the people of city 17 to reproduce for the inevitable return of the Combine, does that mean they might return in a future game? Half Life: Alex Workshop/Mod Idea Posted: 22 Nov 2020 04:33 PM PST I dont know the first thing about making a mod or workshop item for this game but I love it so much so here is the idea Whenever your shooting the pistol I always felt it was very unrealistic to look at the side of the gun to see how many bullets you have left in the magazine, this mechanic also makes the game a lot easier. My idea is that there would be a mod that changed the texture of the pistol magazine to show how many bullets are left in the magazine when you take it out of the gun and to remove the mechanic that showed the bullets amount on the gun handle. (if you have ever played the Condemned games then you know what I mean). Having to take the magazine out of the gun to know how many bullets you have left adds suspension and fear to your surroundings knowing that you aren't ready if you are about to get attacked (the doors that you have to pull up throughout the game is an example of this tension because you cant have a weapon out when you open the door). thank you for reading [link] [comments] |
