    I figured out how to do sideways gravity in Source. I couldn't find resources on how to do it so it involved a lot of trial and error. But I think it looks pretty nice.

    Half-Life 1: Pacifist Route!

    Howdy! I've put lots of hours into the original Half-Life, so much that I've started to do challenge runs in the game. Right now I'm working on a pacifist run or at least as few kills as possible. Obviously, to end the game you need to kill the Nihilanth, but with that exception there are only two instances I've seen that require enemies to be killed to progress.

    During Apprehension, the scientist that tells you the H.E.V. suit has trackers has locked himself into a room, and won't let you in unless you kill the three vortigaunts and two headcrabs outside. Also, during Lambda Core, a similar situation occurs where a scientist will not open a door for you unless you kill the two alien grunts in Lambda Bay B.

    If anybody knows a way to skip these, I would be very thankful and give you the appropriate credit! The rest of my route is similar to the famous "Half-Life in 20:41" video (link). If anyone has questions go ahead and ask in the comments. Thanks y'all!

    Successful Combine Assimilation of Humanity

    I've had a cool concept idea (that I sadly lack the talent to execute), where the Combine successfully took over Earth, turning humanity into synths like the others. The idea would be that, after successfully taking over the universe, they would begin multiversal testing, sending their military into parallel dimensions to test just how powerful they are. (This would involve revisiting the Striders' homeworld, the Crawlers' homeworld, etc you get the idea).

    The idea would be sorta like the Seven Hour War, but without the shit-tastic nightmare that was "Hunt Down the Freeman." It wouldn't be hopeless however! You would be fighting alongside the original alien species that make up the Synth Armada, courtesy of the Vortigaunts. While I am unable to bring this dream to reality, I'm happy discussing the idea.
