    Okay, here me out folks. obviously 14 years is a long time to be waiting for the next entry, (alyx aside) However, assuming Valve is working on "that shining integer" as Gabe put it once, I would much rather wait for an absolute masterpiece than have another Cyberpunk 2077. With Cyberpunk, they announced it, and were rushed because people were expecting it at a certain time. By waiting to say anything about HL3, Valve has the outside pressure from fans, but no promises to keep. If I have to choose between waiting, but getting another game with the polish and perfection of Alyx, or getting a buggy CP2077-style shitshow, I, for one, would much rather wait for another masterpiece.

    TIL You can spawn the cut combine recon npc in HLA using the console commands "combine_force_spawn_class 4" and "ent_create npc_combine_s". Spawning him however will freeze and crash the game due to his broken animations.

    I've always wondered how headcrabs could possibly take control of their human nervous system, but i think the answer is pretty much because they are aliens but do they have something inside their body that makes them take control of it and also why they actually need to open their human's mid-body?
