    Should my friend play Half Life first or Black Mesa?

    So my friend's been wanting to get to the Half Life series so he bought both Half Life and Black Mesa. He says that eventually he'll play both of them but asked me what game he should play first.

    As a person who likes Half Life more due to it's better level design and more enjoyable HECU AI I thought that he should play Half Life first but maybe the visuals and Xen might make him bored from the game.

    So what do you think he should play first, Half Life or Black Mesa?

    Does anyone else think the scientist deaths in the Black Mesa remake hit harder than in the original half-life?

    It might just be me, but in half-life, there wasn't many apperances for scientists so they all felt faceless, but in Black Mesa, the large ammount of apperances and RNG of scientists felt more emotional.

    Anyone know to remove weapon "sway/inspection" animations in Half-Life 1?

    It's seriously so annoying literally every two seconds Gordon is checking out his pistol, even while he's running. Seriously. Does this guy have ADHD, I just want the viewmodel to be still, but he's always checking out his weapon and it's super annoying. Is there a console command to get rid of this crap?
