    I've always wondered if anyone's going to ever try remaking HDTF into something else from what it became.

    Here's what I would've done (at least for the story):

    • Game will be titled "Half-Life: Osmosis" (because the scientific term reflects the events in the game). The game would be a bit short, around 5-6 hours (it's short compared to HL2 at least).

    • Protagonist is Private Mitchell Johnson (no relation to Adrian). He looks like a typical marine, short hair and wearing a HECU near-bulletproof gas mask

    • Mitchell woke up in the Biodome Complex after a gunfight between a Black Ops squad and his squad, then met a Vortigaunt.

    • The Vort was one of the alien lifeforms brought to the facility by the BM Survey Team a few years earlier.

    • It can speak English because BM scientists taught it that, so they can easily understand it.

    • The Vort is nicknamed "Ian" by security guards, it also had it's shackles removed so that Alien Controllers couldn't mind-control it.

    • Ian tells Mitchell that he knows the facility's layout from staying here for years and that the only way out of the facility is to teleport to Xen and use a teleporter there to teleport back to Earth in another location, to get to Xen they need to reach Sector F.

    • They then fought against aliens and the Black Ops together through the facility in an Alyx-and-Gordon-from-EP1-esque way.

    • They reached the sector, but the Lambda teleporter was destroyed (if you played OpFor, you know why). So they went back out to get to the Prototype Labs.

    • When they reached it, they try to find a scientist to get the teleporter working, they found one and he helped them to Xen shortly before dying to Black Ops who stormed the room. The 2 managed to get away.

    • Once in Xen, they would fight many Xen wildlife and traverse many places before finally reaching a Vort village (where Ian came from).

    • Ian activates the teleporter in the village and set a random coordinate on Earth into the machine. Ian says he wants to stay behind in his home and that Mitchell should go, Private Johnson jumps through the portal and was teleported back to Earth.

    • But the Vortigaunt teleporter was primitive and slow, so when teleporting, Mitchell actually arrives on Earth a few months after the BM Incident. (which is similar to what happened to Gordon and Alyx when they escaped Nova Prospekt)

    • The game ends with the protagonist's death. Mitchell regains his consciousness in the middle of a destroyed city only to witness a massive Combine Warship with Combine Gunships and Dropships flying around it in a stormy sky with Portal Storms, overlooking him while preparing it's Dark Energy Cannon to blast him and the entire city to pieces.

    What do you guys think? Will this work as a HDTF remake?

    I know of Half Life, HL2, HL2E1, and HL2E2. As far as I know, no episode 3 came out and steam doesn't even have E2, unless I'm blind. What is epistle 3? Is it a fan game?

    Headcrab Cook Book

    This Guide will help you Cook a Headcrab in 3 different ways!!!

    First, you have to kill a headcrab.

    WARNING!! YOU MUST DE-BEAK THE HEADCRAB FIRST!! EATING THE BEAK PARTS WILL CAUSE INTESTINAL PAIN/BLEEDING!!

    USE TWEEZERS/TONGS TO RIP OUT THE BEAK PARTS OF THE HEADCRAB

    Recipe #1. Roasted Headcrab

    First of all, You have to cut the legs off as for they are very Bony.

    Next, you have to stuff your headcrab. A Common use is Lemon, others can use Potato.

    Next, you must tenderize the meat. This can be easily done with a Stunstick. The electricity does a very good job of tenderizing, as well as loosening the outside skin.

    Finally, you must cook it over a Spit Fire, in order to get a full 360 cook.

    Then, You should have a delicious, roasted brown headcrab.

    Recipe #2. Headcrab Soup.

    To Start, Tenderize the meat THOROUGHLY. We Did this with a cinder block.

    Next, add the necessary additions to your soup pot/bucket. We have uses Lemon, Potato, and Carrot.

    Toss the Headcrab into the the bucket after the water has started to boil.

    Next, use something long to stir the soup. We used a crowbar in this image.

    Finally, add Salt and Seasoning. DO NOT add to much, as for it can ruin the flavor.

    And there you have it, you now have a Seasoned Bowl of Headcrab Soup. Enjoy!

    Recipe #3. Fried Headcrab.

    First, you must cut open the headcrab and let the blood drain out.

    Second, Bread the headcrab using Breadcrumbs.

    Put the Breaded Headcrab onto a frying pan and begin cooking.

    After 5 minutes, Flip the headcrab, then add Cooking Wine into the headcrab to make sure that it doesnt dry out. Also feel free to add minor amounts of pepper or salt.

    After Cooking, The headcrab will have a very different appearance due to the breadcrumbs expanding and cooking.

    Be sure to eat the inside of the headcrab, as for it is now very succulent and tender.

    Now that you know how to correctly Cook Headcrabs, you can prepare food for the rest of your rebel alliance or family.
