    (Spoilers) What do the combine even know now?

    Spoilers for both Half Life Ep 2 and Half Life Alyx.

    So something came to mind that I feel will weaken the impact of the combine in a fabled HL3, and that's what the combine knows. At the end of HL:Ep2, the advisors kill Eli and in doing so, take his memories, and with their ability to telepathicly communicate, it can be assumed a message has gone out fast that they need to get to the Borealis, probably with all remaining and available combine forces. The situation is quite dire... but then HL:A happens.

    In HL:A, Eli doesn't die and neither of the advisors there really get away with anything... so... what does the combine even have now in terms of information? The only thing I could guess is that they could track and follow anything heading for the Borealis, but aside from that... I feel like the Combine don't exactly have a lead, at least not one strong enough to require all their forces.

    Maybe I'm missing something but it kind of feels like the combine might not be as much a threat as they should or could be

    So I emailed support wondering why my poster was so delayed, and just got an email back stating that a glitch in the system oversold the posters, meaning they are not as limited as initially expected. I was told my order is apart of the 2nd run of posters being made.... Might explain the month and a half delay so far....
