I understand that the purpose of Gordon not having a speaking role is to make the game more immersive and to make the player feel like Gordon and that everything you say could be interpreted as everything Gordon says, but it's something that struck me as interesting. A good example is some of the chapter names and general aesthetic. Hell even the titles of the games like "Blue Shift" or "Decay". Or even the weapons like the Gluon Gun or Tau Cannon.
